DEEP FRYER TEMPERATURE FOR DIFFERENT PRODUCTS
Deep Frying is a cooking process, the main idea of which is that food is submerged into hot oil or fat. This method of cooking and food processing appeared in different parts of the world at various periods of time. As a result, there are many ways of frying, but more popular is the full immersion of food into hot oil at temperature 160-190 °С (320-375°F).
The precise setting of the temperature is a key point in the process of deep-frying. If the temperature of fat or oil is not hot enough, your food will be too fattening and the time of cooking will be longer. In another case, when the temperature is too high your food will be burnt outside but raw inside.
When you use an electric deep fryer, the process of making food gets much easier because you can easily set the temperature you need. But we urge you to use a long-stem fry thermometer to check whether the temperature set on your deep fryer is the same as shown on the thermometer.
To make your process of deep frying easier and less complicated, we have made a chart with the temperature and time that you need for cooking different products. It should be stated, that there are also inside temperatures of some meat products. It helps to find out whether it’s cooked inside and safe for having or is still raw.

To cook French fries, we recommend following this instruction:

1) Heat up oil or fat up to 160°С (325°F), add potato, and branch for 3-4 minutes.

2) Increase the temperature up to 205°С (400°F) and cook 3-4 minutes.
